The basic premise is that whenever we experience trauma, a part of our vital essence (Soul) separates from us in order to survive the experience by escaping the full impact of the pain.
Some causes of Soul Loss
- Illness or accident
- Major surgery
- Not feeling loved or abandoned by a parent
- Divorce, separation or break up
- Death of a loved one
- Abusive relationship

How Shamanism works to retrieve lost Soul Parts
Shamans believe that a part of our essential life-energy (Soul) can split off and become lost or intentionally left behind in “nonordinary reality.” So this is where we need to travel to if you want to fully heal from our trauma. With the guidance of a shamanic practitioner we Journey into “nonordinary” reality to call back our lost soul parts, call back our power, find answers, meet guides that will create a healed outcome for our life.
Through my Shamanic Medicine Work training I have learned many Journeys and Ceremonies that help get clients unstuck. We work together to retrieve, call and accept back the parts of themselves that was lost or left behind.
