What to Expect

A Steady, Consent-Based Healing Experience

If you are sensitive or intuitive, not knowing what will happen can feel activating.

This page is here to reduce that uncertainty.

Soul Listening Sessions are grounded, relational, and paced according to your nervous system. Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed.

You are not expected to perform vulnerability or “go deep.”

Before Your Session

You do not need to prepare in a special way.

You may want to:

  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Have water nearby
  • Set aside quiet time afterward
  • Avoid alcohol or substances before your session

If meeting online, choose a space where you feel reasonably undisturbed.

There is no need to arrive with a perfectly articulated intention. We can discover that together.

At the Beginning

We begin by orienting.

I may ask:

  • What feels present for you today?
  • Where do you feel tension or hesitation?
  • What feels most important right now?

We will gently identify which Inner Gate State feels most accurate — whether protection feels strong, the Dreamer is stirring, or there is tension between them.

This is not diagnostic.
It is simply awareness.

During the Session

From there, we move slowly.

Depending on what feels appropriate, we may include:

  • Protector dialogue
  • Dreamer exploration
  • Shamanic journey work
  • Energy healing or Reiki
  • Boundary repair
  • Soul retrieval
  • Ancestral or lineage themes

You are always informed before we shift direction.

If something feels too much, we pause.
If something feels unclear, we clarify.
If something does not resonate, we adjust.

Your consent guides the depth.

What It Feels Like

Most sessions feel:

  • Grounded
  • Reflective
  • Steady
  • Sometimes emotional, but not overwhelming
  • Clarifying rather than explosive

It is common to feel calmer at the end than when you began.

This is not about catharsis.
It is about integration.

What You May Notice After a Session

The work we do together often continues to unfold quietly after the session ends.

Some people notice subtle shifts in the hours or days that follow, such as:

  • feeling more relaxed or slightly tired
  • deeper sleep or vivid dreams
  • emotions or memories surfacing
  • moments of new clarity or insight
  • a sense of inner spaciousness or calm

These responses are simply your nervous system and inner world integrating the work.

Sometimes the changes are very subtle. Often the most meaningful shifts appear gradually — in how you feel, how you respond to situations, or how you relate to yourself.

There is nothing you need to force.

Your system will take what it needs from the session and integrate it at a pace that feels safe.

You don’t need to believe anything in particular or have prior experience with this work. We simply begin by listening to what your system is ready to show.

If you feel ready to explore this work for yourself, you’re welcome to begin with a Soul Listening Session, or a Reiki and Energy Healing Session where we gently open the Inner Gate and listen to what your system is ready to reveal.

A Note on Scope

Soul Listening Sessions are rooted in shamanic healing and energy healing.

They support emotional and energetic integration and Sacred Shadow Work.

They are not psychotherapy and do not replace clinical mental health care.

If you are experiencing acute mental health crisis, this work is not a substitute for medical or therapeutic support.
