A Gentle Note About Being Away During the Clearing
This work is meant to be supportive, settling, and kind to your nervous system.
For that reason, I ask that home dwellers step out of the space during the active clearing itself. This isn’t because anything is “wrong” or unsafe — it’s simply the most caring way to let the home release what it’s been holding, without asking your body or emotions to process it at the same time.
Many people who are sensitive, intuitive, or already carrying stress find that staying present during a clearing can feel overstimulating or tiring. By taking a short break from the space, you give both yourself and your home the room they need to reset.
Think of it like airing out a room — sometimes it’s gentler to step outside and return once the fresh air has settled.
What you can expect
- We begin together with a calm, grounded check-in so you know exactly what’s happening.
- When the clearing starts, you leave the home for a while — just long enough for the energy to move and settle.
- You’re welcome to take a walk, sit in a café, or do something nourishing and grounding.
- I’ll let you know when it’s complete and ready for you to return.
When you come back, the intention is for the space to feel quieter, clearer, and easier to be in — not dramatic or intense.
If leaving your home feels tender or unfamiliar, that’s okay. We can talk it through beforehand and move at a pace that feels respectful to you. The goal is never to push — only to support a sense of safety, ease, and belonging in your space.
